Professor Stephen Farnsworth of the University of Mary Washington in Virginia said that Amy Coney Barrett is evading questions because there is no political need to answer them. All indications are that the Senate will confirm this pre-election Supreme Court nominee on a near-party line vote, Farnsworth said.
