“Call it redistricting or even re-redistricting. Either way, Virginians really do not like politicians drawing their own legislative boundaries. By a margin of 74 percent to 15 percent, with the rest undecided, state residents said in a new survey sponsored by the University of Mary Washington that an independent board — not the state legislature — should draw the boundaries of state legislative and congressional districts.”
