Professor Stephen Farnsworth of the University of Mary Washington said that President Trump's decision to name a former  Virginia attorney general to coordinate his immigration policies makes sense, as the two men have very similar policy positions, and both are likely to be aggressive in pressuring Congress to take a harder line.
