“The Republicans are facing a lot of pressure from the Tea Party movement and they can’t expect to be too accommodating with Obamacare, or with the governor, and still expect to keep their seats following primaries next year,” said Stephen J. Farnsworth, professor of political science at the University of Mary Washington.
