Professor Stephen Farnsworth of the University of Mary Washington said that both vice presidential candidates were effective in presenting their case on Wednesday night debate, but predicted that the debate would have little lasting impact on the election, where nearly all Americans have already made up their minds regarding Donald Trump and Joe Biden.
