Professor Stephen Farnsworth of the University of Mary Washington in Virginia said President Biden’s first year in office will be judged largely on whether he is able to meet his goal of immunizing 100 million Americans against Covid during his first 100 days as president. If he succeeds, Farnsworth said, that will also help revive the US economy, which has struggled as the health care crisis of Covid has intensified.
