Professor Stephen Farnsworth of the University of Mary Washington in Virginia said that US surveys show that Americans are not happy with President Trump’s handling of the Covid-19 crisis, and the president’s decision to reinstate the White House briefings are in response to those public concerns, as well as surveys showing him losing ground in the 2020 presidential election.
