Professor Stephen Farnsworth of the University of Mary Washington said that Donald Trump’s comments on Twitter on behalf of his daughter’s business is yet another example of why ethics experts said the president and his family should remove himself from the family business. These controversies will continue to exist as long as Trump leaves Americans wondering whether he is working primarily for the country or for family business interests, Farnsworth said.
