“It’s clear that Prince William County has moved in a significantly pro-Democratic direction in the last several years,” Dr. Stephen Farnsworth, a political scientist with the University of Mary Washington, told InsideNoVa. “But it’s also the case that the political environment remains unsettled, particularly in the areas of the county farthest from I-95.”
