Professor Stephen Farnsworth of the University of Mary Washington said that Hillary Clinton’s advantages in recent surveys are a result of a terrible month for Donald Trump, who has struggled to raise money and obtain support from many prominent Republicans. But Farnsworth noted that the election is a long ways away and that a lot can change in the country and the world between now and November.
