High Stakes Effort to Revive North Korea Summit (CTV News Canada)

Professor Stephen Farnsworth of the University of Mary Washington said that efforts over the weekend to revive the cancelled meeting between the leaders of the US and North Korea seem like a bad idea for US interests, as leader summits usually take months of negotiations before the meetings to produce effective agreements.

"If there is one thing we have learned about the Trump foreign policy, it is that trying to rush things does not lead to favorable outcomes," Farnsworth said.
