Professor Stephen Farnsworth predicted that “Brexit” would have a minimal impact on the US election, as the angry, largely white voters who made up the leave vote are a larger share of the United Kingdom electorate than of the US. Whites probably will cast less than 70 percent of the vote in the US presidential election in contrast to the nearly 80 percent white vote that marked the United Kingdom vote on Brexit, Farnsworth said.
