Two Virginia political analysts, Quentin Kidd of Christopher Newport University and Stephen Farnsworth of the University of Mary Washington, tweeted Thursday that they think Trump’s expected pick of Indiana Gov. Mike Pence makes it more likely that Clinton will pick Kaine.
“Agreed,” Farnsworth tweeted in response to Kidd. “A safe choice by the GOP doesn’t require a lot of rethinking by Clinton team.”
