Stephen Farnsworth, a political analyst at the University of Mary Washington, agrees that the latest scandals surrounding Lieutenant Governor Justin Fairfax and Attorney General Mark Herring might actually be good for Governor Ralph Northam.
“I think the pressure on Northam to leave office is dramatically reduced in the wake of these latest subsequent scandals,” Farnsworth surmised.
