Professor Stephen Farnsworth of the University of Mary Washington said President Barack Obama gave a fine speech during the Democratic National Convention, making the case for continuing Democratic policy initiatives through electing Hillary Clinton. Obama also offered a very effective counter-argument to the negativity offered by the Republican Party’s convention last week, Farnsworth said.
