Professor Stephen Farnsworth of the University of Mary Washington said that Republicans would be wise to wait and see what the latest efforts in the Mueller investigation reveal before being too quick to condemn the probe.

"The last thing you want to do is go out on a limb and then watch it being cut off," Farnsworth said.
