Professor Stephen Farnsworth of the University of Mary Washington said that President Trump’s Florida rally on Saturday reminded Americans why Trump won the election. The supportive crowd was a sharp contrast from the many anti-Trump rallies that the new president has faced during his first month in office. The rally also demonstrated that Trump was a better advocate for the Trump presidency than his press secretary or other surrogates, Farnsworth said.
