Professor Stephen Farnsworth of the University of Mary Washington said that President Trump's combative comments in advance of the G-7 Summit have more to do with his anger over the continuing US Justice Department investigation over possible Russian collusion with the Trump team than with any missteps by other G-7 leaders.
"With all that is going on right now in Washington, President Trump really wants to change the subject to trade," Farnsworth said.
