Professor Stephen Farnsworth of the University of Mary Washington in Virginia said the President Trump's decision to delay the transition process will help make it difficult for President-elect Biden to get a strong start when his term starts on January 20. While Trump has not conceded that he lost the election, his claims are regularly being dismissed in the courts, Farnsworth said.
