President Trump’s decision not to release the Democratic assessments of the House Intelligence Committee’s investigation into Russian efforts to manipulate the US elections and US officials represents a double-standard, Professor Stephen Farnsworth of the University of Mary Washington said.
Trump authorized the release of the Republican memo several days ago despite concerns from intelligence agencies about its contents, and now Trump is using the same concerns to block release of a rebuttal memo, Farnsworth said.
