Stephen J. Farnsworth, a political science professor at the University of Mary Washington, said Virginia’s moderate voters presented the best chance for Rubio to pick up delegates Tuesday.
“The results on Super Tuesday were really not encouraging for any Republican other than Trump,” Farnsworth said. “It’s going to make it harder and harder for the anti-Trump movement to get very far.”
