Professor Stephen Farnsworth of the University of Mary Washington said that Donald Trump’s decision to hand control of his businesses to his children won’t convince most Americans that the next president will be working for the public good rather than for himself.
What Trump has proposed is a long way from the blind trust that previous presidents have employed to keep their personal business interests out of policy-making, Farnsworth said.
