Professor Stephen Farnsworth of the University of Mary Washington said that Trump Health Care bill faces far greater obstacles in the US Senate, where Republicans have a 52-48 majority. Some Republican senators object to the current plan because it is not a full repeal of Obamacare, others worry about provisions that undermine the Medicaid expansion efforts in their home states and still others object to plans to allow insurance companies to charge more for people with pre-existing health care conditions, Farnsworth said.
