Professor Stephen Farnsworth of the University of Mary Washington said that Donald Trump’s appearance with his family at a “Town Hall” meeting sponsored by CNN last night was smart politics, in that it allowed Americans to learn about his family. Showing the Trump family together thereby help soften the rough edges that have marked the brash businessman’s presidential campaign, Farnsworth said.
