Professor Stephen Farnsworth of the University of Mary Washington said that it was unlikely that President Donald Trump would follow through on his threat to start the process of leaving the North American Free Trade Agreement anytime soon, as the consequences to the US economy would be quite negative.
Farnsworth said it was more likely that Trump was making the NAFTA exit threat to secure concessions in a renegotiated trade agreement.
