In an opinion column, Professor Stephen Farnsworth of the University of Mary Washington said that the continued uncertainties surrounding Covid-19 make it imperative for government officials in Virginia to prepare to run an all-mail-in election in November. Without advance preparation, the Commonwealth will struggle to protect public safety and run an election smoothly, Farnsworth said.
