Nationally, “Republicans have a lot to be pleased with” considering Tuesday’s results, said Stephen J. Farnsworth, professor and director of the Center for Leadership and Media Studies at the University of Mary Washington.
But in Virginia, he said, they might be thinking about “the one that got away.”
