The three candidates running for the Democratic nomination for the 1st District congressional seat are scheduled to take part in a political debate in Fauquier County Friday.
Sponsored by Indivisible NoVa West, “Views & Brews” will be held at Old Bust Head Brewing Co. at 7134 Farm Station Road in Vint Hill, near Warrenton. Doors will open at 8:15 p.m. The debate will begin at 8:45 p.m. and is expected to last about an hour.
Organizers said all three Democratic candidates—Edwin Santana, John Suddarth and Vangie Williams—have agreed to participate. Professor Stephen J. Farnsworth, director of the Center for Leadership and Media Studies at the University of Mary Washington, will be the moderator.
