Manafort, Former Partner Charged in Russia Probe (CTV News Canada)

Professor Stephen Farnsworth of the University of Mary Washington said that the indictments of President Trump’s former campaign chief and a member of the White House staff reveal that prosecutors are focusing on Russian involvement in the 2016 election. Paul Manafort, the former campaign chair, may choose to cooperate with investigators rather than face 20 years in prison, Farnsworth said.

“If he doesn’t talk, and soon, there will be others close to Trump who will,” Farnsworth said.
