Professor Stephen Farnsworth of the University of Mary Washington said the main challenge for Donald Trump in the second debate is to avoid offending women. His remarks about candidate Carly Fiorina and Fox News debate panelist Megyn Kelly have raised questions about whether he can avoid being offensive.
For most of the other candidates, he said, the challenge is just being heard over Trump, who has dominated the GOP’s campaign discourse for several months now.
