Professor Stephen Farnsworth of the University of Mary Washington said that Carly Fiorina showed that Donald Trump could be rendered speechless, at least for a moment, during her very effective debate performance on Wednesday night. Marco Rubio also demonstrated an effective command of the stage when he spoke, with particularly effective answers to foreign policy questions, Farnsworth said.
